The sad case of Cybertruck owners
If you are a Cybertruck owner who loves it for whatever reasons AND you genuinely don’t care about what others think of you, this blogpost is not about you. It is about for those of you who care too much about what others think.
To simplify it, such people either care a lot about looking cool OR hate attention. Basically, they should be the last people who want to have Cybertrucks.
If you hate attention, why would you buy yourselves something that makes you stick out like sore thumbs in the public? Why wouldn’t you buy more “traditional-looking” vehicles that allow you to blend in with the rest of your respective societies?
If you want to look cool, why would you buy yourselves something which people mock on a regular basis? When it was first announced, Cybertrucks were already ridiculed for their look. After their releases, there are many reports of malfunctions and safety issues.
No, unless you also openly and proudly support Elon Musk’s oligarchy and toxicity and/or you think you are better than everyone else, I don’t believe you deserve to be bullied and harassed simply for owning Tesla products.
But, I do think you have extremely poor judgements.
If you are deeply concerned about how you are being perceived, you would have known how to read even the least subtle social cues; you would also have known the difference between fame and infamy.
I am not expecting you to always score a bullseye, especially when the targets are far from you. But, to completely miss the mark by miles when the targets are literally right in front of your faces? How is that not tragic?
I genuinely don’t know what’s wrong with you. Is it a severe case of social ineptitude (so severe, it makes me look socially adept in comparison)? Or do you genuinely believe your preferences are universal?
If it is the latter, is it because you haven’t left your bubbles? Or is it because you are delusional?
