Trump’s second victory: whose fault is it?
Is it the voters’ fault? Is it the Democrats’? My answer is “fencesitting”: it is both.
Let us be honest here: the average voters are stupid dumbfucks.
If you want to judge someone, you should focus NOT just on their words, but also on their actions. When it comes to politicians, focus NOT only on their campaigns, but also their track records.
What I just said is not radical, it is basic common sense! Only the most gullible fucks take other people’s easily debunked words for granted. It is one thing if you fall for people who run for offices for the first time. It is another when you fall for career politicians with clear track records.
Under the first Trump presidency, the US relocated its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, assassinated Soleimani and didn’t withdraw its troops from Afghanistan. Not to mention he escalated the tension with North Korea by spewing the “fire and fury” remark and the summit was practically fruitless. How can anyone witness all of those and still think his foreign policy is different from any other US presidents’?
I am still being too nice here. Even when the politicians’ words reflect their actual worldview, some voters are somehow convinced they mean the exact opposites.
How can any immigrants and minorities in the US hear Trump constantly fear-mongering about the “others”…. and somehow think he accepts them? How can they act surprise when his policies fuck them in the ass?
As tempting as it sounds, I am reluctant about forcing citizens to take intelligence and knowledge tests as a prerequisite for voting. I don’t like the dangerous slippery slopes in which the tests having ideological slants.
But, I also think calling people stupid and dismissing their opinions as trash shouldn’t be a taboo. If they are entitled to be stupid, we are also entitled to mock the stupidity; freedom of speech is a two-way street. And no, not all opinions are equally valid; if they are factually incorrect and nonsensical, they deserve to be called as they are.
At the same time, I also think losing the elections is a hobby of the Dems.
They are career politicians, they have years of experiences traversing the world of politics. They should know better than everyone else that if you want to get votes, you need to take advantage of the fact the average voters are gullible dumbfucks.
Of course, they know those things. That’s how they get elected in the first place. The reason of their defeat is not just mere incompetence: it is their hatred of leftism.
They would rather be seen as centrist or right-wing populists than as more left-wing ones. That’s why they embrace the likes of Liz Cheney and spew anti-illegal immigration and pro-zionism rhetorics in their campaigns. They detest the prospect of relatively left-wing ideals becoming more mainstream.
And still, they have the gall to act surprised when they failed to get votes from people who would have definitely voted for them otherwise. They genuinely believe pandering to conservatives makes them more palatable to the minorities and the increasingly more progressive younger Americans.
So yes, Trump’s second victory is both the faults of the average voters — who are more brainless than a pile of rotting dog shit — and the narcissistic elite liberal cunts that is the American Democrats.
